If you want the pergola to be mounted to your house on the 12-foot side, you'll want this 12x6 pergola kit instead. Please note that the images above show a 12' x 12' pergola (not a 6' wide x 12' deep pergola for which this kit is intended). The length of each roof rafter/slat will differ from what is pictured above since this kit is for a 6-foot wide pergola (not 12 feet wide as pictured). But both the number of roof rafters and the spacing between them will match what is shown in these images.
