Yes, all Zen Pergola kits require basic assembly. Our bracket system makes it simple, and step-by-step instructions are provided.

What tools are required?

You will need a drill, socket wrench, ladder, and measuring tape. All brackets and hardware are included in the kit.

How long does assembly take?

Most customers complete assembly in 3–6 hours with two people, depending on pergola size.

What type of wood should I use?

We recommend pressure-treated lumber (4x4 or 6x6 posts, 2x6 or 2x8 beams/rafters). Lumber requirements vary by kit size.

Do the kits come with instructions?

Yes, every kit includes printed instructions and links to video tutorials.

Shipping policy

MAINLAND USA: Shipping is free for all orders delivered to a mainland USA address.

CANADA, ALASKA & HAWAII: We are happy to ship orders to any of these locations, but additional charges will apply. All orders totaling less than $200 ship for a flat fee of $39. Orders totaling more than $200 ship for a flat fee of $79.

ALL OTHER LOCATIONS: Please contact us prior to ordering for a custom quote to your location.
