• More Info About Kit: This 6x6 bracket kit for building a wood pergola will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 13-24 feet wide (attached to the house) by 4-12 feet deep (out from the house). The wood pergola with black steel brackets does not need to be exactly 24' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 52 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 52 brackets are used to add 26 angled roof slats to your pergola (13 slats to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
