• More Info About Kit: This pergola brackets & hardware DIY kit will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide (attached to the house) by 13-24 feet deep (out from the house). The 6x6 frame wooden pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 28 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 28 brackets are used to add 14 straight inline roof rafters to your pergola (7 rafters to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with standard spacing between rafters), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof slats at an angle, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
