• More Info About Kit: This wood pergola brackets & hardware kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The backyard wood pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 48 4x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 48 brackets are used to add 24 square inline 4x4 roof rafters to your pergola (6 rafters to each of the four roof sections, all a 12' span with standard spacing between rafters), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, etc.). You can also purchase additional 4x4 insert brackets here .
