• More Info About Kit: This pergola hardware kit with brackets for the outer frame, roof and one side wall will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The contemporary wooden pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 82 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 56 of these brackets are used to add 28 straight inline roof rafters to your pergola (7 rafters to each of the four roof sections, all a 12' span with standard spacing between rafters) and the remaining 26 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 13 slats (8' tall with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats at an angle, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
