• More Info About Kit: This hardware kit for building a wooden pergola will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 25-36 feet by 4-12 feet . The wood pergola does not need to be exactly 36' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 78 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 78 brackets are used to add 39 angled roof slats to your pergola (13 slats to each of the three roof sections, all a 12' span with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
