• More Info About Kit: This steel bracket kit for constructing a wood pergola will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 4-12 feet . The wooden garden/patio pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 24 6x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 24 brackets are used to add 12 square inline 6x6 roof rafters to your pergola (6 rafters to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with closely-spaced rafters), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, etc.). You can also purchase additional 6x6 insert brackets here .
