• More Info About Kit: This custom DIY pergola bracket kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide by 4-12 feet deep . The roofed pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 74 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 38 of these brackets are used to add 19 angled roof slats (covering a span of 12' with closely-spaced slats) and the remaining 36 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 18 angled slats (8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
