• More Info About Kit: This pergola brackets & hardware kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The wood pergola with black brackets does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 48 6x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 32 of these brackets are used to add 16 square inline 6x6 roof rafters to your pergola (4 rafters to each of the four roof sections, all a 12' span with standard spacing between rafters) and the remaining 16 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 8 square 6x6 slats (8' tall with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, etc.). You can also purchase additional 6x6 insert brackets here .
• Required Lumber and Cost: As noted above, wood (lumber) is NOT included in this steel bracket kit for building a wood-frame pergola, nor is the hardware you'll need to anchor the base brackets to a secure foundation.
