• More Info About Kit: This steel bracket kit for constructing a wood pergola will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 25-36 feet by 4-12 feet . The modern wood pergola does not need to be exactly 36' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 180 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 96 of these brackets are used to add 48 angled roof slats to your pergola (16 slats to each of the three roof sections, all a 12' span with closely-spaced slats) and the remaining 84 brackets are used to add three privacy walls with 14 angled slats each (all 8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
