• More Info About Kit: This wood pergola brackets & hardware kit will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide (attached to the house) by 13-24 feet deep (out from the house). The modern wood pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 20 2x6 rafter brackets so you can add 10 traditional roof rafters atop the beams of the pergola (5 rafters over each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with far spacing between rafters). It also includes 24 2x6 insert brackets so you can add two privacy walls with 6 slats each (both 8' tall with far spacing between slats). If desired, you could reduce the number of slats on the privacy walls and use some of the insert brackets to add a side railing or another full/partial privacy wall. You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
