• More Info About Kit: This DIY pergola kit for an outdoor deck or patio will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 4-12 feet . The covered pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 92 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 64 of these brackets are used to add 32 angled roof slats to your pergola (16 slats to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with closely-spaced slats) and the remaining 28 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 14 angled slats (8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
