This do-it-yourself pergola kit will accommodate any freestanding pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet. The pergola does not need to be the exact dimensions shown in the images on this page.

The DIY-friendly kit includes 32 6x6 insert brackets. While the intent is that all 32 of these brackets be used to add 4 square 6x6 roof rafters to each of the pergola's 4 roof sections (12' span each with medium spacing), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, increasing the number of slats in a roof/wall section, etc.). You can also purchase additional 6x6 insert brackets here.
