• More Info About Kit: This pergola bracket kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 25-36 feet by 4-12 feet . The beautiful backyard pergola does not need to be exactly 36' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 20 2x6 rafter brackets so you can add 5 traditional roof rafters atop the beams of the pergola (each rafter running the full 36' width and covering all 3 roof sections, with far spacing between rafters). It also includes 36 2x6 insert brackets so you can add three privacy walls with 6 slats each (all 8' tall with far spacing between slats). If desired, you could reduce the number of slats on the privacy walls and use some of the insert brackets to add a side railing or another full/partial privacy wall. You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
