• More Info About Kit: This backyard pool/patio DIY pergola kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The modern patio or poolside pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 168 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 88 of these brackets are used to add 44 straight inline roof rafters to your pergola (11 rafters to each of the four roof sections, all a 12' span with closely-spaced rafters) and the remaining 80 brackets are used to add two privacy walls with 20 slats each (both 8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats at an angle, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
