• More Info About Kit: This covered pergola kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 4-12 feet . The covered pergola with 2 walls does not need to be exactly 24' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 116 4x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 36 of these brackets are used to add 18 square inline 4x4 roof rafters to your pergola (9 rafters to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with closely-spaced rafters) and the remaining 80 brackets are used to add two privacy walls with 20 square 4x4 slats each (both 8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, etc.). You can also purchase additional 4x4 insert brackets here .
