• More Info About Kit: This kit for building a pergola in your back yard will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The pergola with an overhead roof does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 184 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 128 of these brackets are used to add 64 angled roof slats to your pergola (16 slats to each of the four roof sections, all a 12' span with closely-spaced slats) and the remaining 56 brackets are used to add two privacy walls with 14 angled slats each (both 8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
