• More Info About Kit: This steel bracket kit for constructing a wood pergola will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 13-24 feet wide (attached to house) by 4-12 feet deep (out from the house). The wood pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 44 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 44 brackets are used to add 22 straight inline roof rafters to your pergola (11 rafters to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with closely-spaced rafters), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof slats at an angle, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
