• More Info About Kit: This yard or garden pergola DIY bracket kit will accommodate any free-standing pergola ranging from 13-24 feet by 13-24 feet . The good-sized pergola does not need to be exactly 24' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 42 2x4 rafter brackets so you can add 14 traditional roof rafters atop the beams of the pergola (each rafter running the full 24' width, with standard spacing between rafters). It also includes 26 2x4 insert brackets so you can add one privacy wall with 13 slats (8' tall with standard spacing between slats). If desired, you could reduce the number of slats on the privacy wall and use some of the insert brackets to add a side railing or another full/partial privacy wall. You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
