• More Info About Kit: This DIY kit for a 4x4 wood frame pergola will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide by 4-12 feet deep . The 4x4 frame wooden pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 30 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that all 30 brackets are used to add 15 angled roof slats to your pergola (covering a span of 12' with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding a privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
