• More Info About Kit: This metal pergola brackets & hardware kit will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide (attached to house) by 13-24 feet deep (out from the house). The wooden pergola with black steel brackets does not need to be exactly 12' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 112 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 76 of these brackets are used to add 38 angled roof slats to your pergola (19 slats to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with closely-spaced slats) and the remaining 36 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 18 angled slats (8' tall with closely spaced slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
