• More Info About Kit: This DIY pergola kit for patio/deck privacy will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide (attached to the house) by 13-24 feet deep (out from the house). The covered pergola with 2 walls does not need to be exactly 12' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 96 2x6 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 52 of these brackets are used to add 26 angled roof slats to your pergola (13 slats to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with standard spacing between slats) and the remaining 44 brackets are used to add two privacy walls with 11 angled slats each (both 8' tall with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x6 insert brackets here .
