This backyard pergola kit will accommodate any stand-alone pergola ranging from 4-12 feet by 4-12 feet. The pergola does not need to be the exact dimensions shown in the images on this page.
This small backyard pergola includes a total of 22 2x6 insert brackets. While the intent is that 10 of these brackets be used to add 5 roof rafters (12' span with far spacing) and the remaining 12 be used for one privacy wall with 6 slats (8' height with far spacing), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, increasing the number of slats in a roof/wall section, etc.).
