Overview
This pergola side railing kit utilizes 2x6 insert brackets to insert a series of horizontal 2x6 slats between 2 posts and create a railing on one side of the pergola. Using the dropdown above, you can choose anywhere from 1 to 5 slats you want to comprise the railing, which will typically be a height of 36 inches (from the ground to the top of the highest 2x6 slat).

Wood - Lumber is a) very expensive to ship and b) readily available to most people at local home improvement and building supply stores. By buying your wood locally, you also have more options on the exact type of wood you'd like that is appropriate for your area's climate.
