• More Info About Kit: This 2-post DIY pergola kit will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide by 4-12 feet deep . The 2-post pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 12' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 30 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 10 of these brackets are used to add 5 straight inline roof rafters (covering a span of 12' with far spacing between rafters) and the remaining 20 brackets are used to add one privacy wall with 10 slats (8' tall with far spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats at an angle, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
