• More Info About Kit: This black steel bracket kit will accommodate any attached pergola ranging from 4-12 feet wide (attached to house) by 13-24 feet deep (out from the house). The backyard relax-in-the-shade pergola does not need to be exactly 12' x 24' like in the images on this page. The kit includes 108 2x4 insert brackets . While the images on this page show that 60 of these brackets are used to add 30 angled roof slats to your pergola (15 slats to each of the two roof sections, both a 12' span with standard spacing between slats) and the remaining 48 brackets are used to add two privacy walls with 12 angled slats each (both 8' tall with standard spacing between slats), you can use the brackets any way you'd like (i.e. adding another privacy wall or half/partial wall, adding a side railing, installing the roof rafters and/or wall slats straight up & down, etc.). You can also purchase additional 2x4 insert brackets here .
